Every day at the Fresno Humane Animal Services volunteers have the opportunity to make an enormous difference in our lifesaving capacity and enrich the lives of animals awaiting forever homes.
Our volunteers:
Brighten and improve the lives of thousands of animals and people
Receive extensive training, guidance, and support
Develop animal handling skills and an understanding of animal body language and behavior
Gain valuable work experience
Connect with people who share similar values and interests
Program Basics
Most volunteer positions require a commitment of at least six months
Most Volunteer positions are for ages 18+
